Child, Youth and School Services

-General Description
YESS works with School Liaison Officer, SKIESunlimited, Parent Education, HIRED! and community organizations to provide educational and extracurricular activities for youth. It provides resource materials to assist parents/youth in understanding transition polices and provides sponsorship for incoming and outgoing youth. It also provides information on Secondary Education Opportunities, e.g. Scholarships and Career Counseling. YESS provides information on leadership opportunities such as Youth Action Council, Installation Volunteer Program, Post Teen Council, and R U Ready for Life after High School.

-Youth Sponsorship Newcomers’ Orientation
The Patch HUB organizes a wonderful experience for new youth in the community to help in their transition.  The youth will:
Discover Stuttgart City Center.
Tour the Stuttgart Military Community.
Navigate German Public Transportation.
Learn German Language and Customs.

-R U Ready for Life After High School?
This program is for high school students.  The program provides students with useful tools, compiled in a portfolio, which assists in preparing for college, choosing a career, or applying for a job after high school.
