Child, Youth and School Services

Parent Involvement

-What is Involved
Parent volunteers are a very important resource for CYS Services. Our programs and our children/youth benefit immensely from the knowledge and skill that volunteers provide.
We're looking for enthusiastic people who want to help out, whatever capacities they are able, assisting and leading various activities.
Start by becoming a registered volunteer through Go-Volunteer through Army Community Services’ to find out where your talents can be best used within CYS Services and keep track of your volunteer hours to earn Parent Participation Points.

-Benefits
We would like to encourage you to become an active partner in your child’s program. Your involvement is important to your child and to us.
Parents can earn Parent Participation Points. Five points per month can be used at any CYS program for a 10% discount on your child care expenses.
